“My six-year-old son loves this storybook app about a redheaded Cinderella. This delightful version is abbreviated and adapted from the well-known Brothers Grimm version but it is still a healthy forty pages long and stays true to the original story. Whether you let the narrator read the story or you read it yourself, it is an enchanting bedtime story.

The rich and deeply colorful illustrations have light touches of animation and hidden sounds that bring the story to life. This app allows you to move the magic wand across the pages to miraculously change the pumpkin into a carriage, the mice into horses and the rags into a ball gown.

There are other entertaining extras within the app including a matching game, a sing-along and profile cards of the characters. In the extras we learn that one of the wicked stepsisters went to Farrah Fawrence Academy and that Cinderella went on to write the book "From Riches to Rags to Riches". The character cards include educational linguistic notes that can prompt further discussion by educators and parents.
